... the investment we made in our boys, Joshua and William, to attend St. Louis School has been more rewarding than any other. Their yearning for learning, commitment to service and faithfulness to the Catholic Church ... have followed them into their adult years.

Saint Louis Catholic School Curriculum Mapping

Welcome to our curriculum mapping page. Curriculum mapping is an attempt to align concepts, skills and assessment vertically and horizontally across curriculums and grade levels. Curriculum mapping is not etched in stone but is a fundamental component of the educational program provided. It is not stagnant but continually adjusts and changes as do our students from one grade level to the next in order to meet the challenges made evident through a triangulation of data gathered from one year to the next.

These identified goals then become the driving force to list content, skills and assessments necessary for students to achieve our high academic standards. Redundancy is eliminated and gaps are acknowledged as necessary components in content needed to be identified and placed into the appropriate continuum of the curriculum map. It is our hope that the curriculum mapping provided here will be a guide for learning and expectations in performance to be assessed for you as parents and for your child as the year progresses in a student's learning journey. Through the learning journey T.C.C.E.D. guidelines and T.E.K.S are implemented.
