Welcome to St. Louis Catholic School

The goal of education is to prepare young people for the future. Catholic education takes this goal a step further: it prepares children to meet the challenges of life as Christians. St. Louis Catholic School educates children in a Christian environment. The process is "God-Centered".

The school ministers to the whole child; this means there is a deep commitment to educate the whole person, complementing the home in helping each child to develop to his or her full potential spiritually, intellectually, socially, and physically.

BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT
Back to school night was a great success. We had 81% of our parents show up for the event. Congratulations! Next year we will have babysitting.

EARLY OUT 2PM
Friday, September 3, will be an early out at 2 pm. Please make necessary arrangements to pick up your child(ren). After school care will be provided for those children who are in our after school care program.

LABOR DAY HOLIDAY
There will be no school on Monday, September 6th.

LABEL CLOTHING
Please make sure all of your child's clothing is labeled with their name. Please include their daily clothes in the labeling as well.

REMINDER
As a reminder, tuition payments go through the FACTS online tuition payment service. All other monies need to be in a sealed envelope with the child's name labeled on the front of the envelope and the purpose identified. Please make sure Larry's lunch money is sent in your child's backpack so the teacher can mark the lunch chart in their rooms.

SAFE ENVIRONMENT CLASSES
Two Safe Environment classes have been scheduled. The dates are as follows: Tuesday, September 7th and Wednesday, September 15th at 7:00 p.m. in the cafeteria.

BACKGROUND CHECK
If you haven't filled out and turned in a background check, please do so as soon as possible. They are good for three years.

PTC MEETING
Our first PTC meeting will be Tuesday, September 21st at 7:00 p.m. in the cafeteria. The 3rd, 4th and 5th graders will perform. There will also be another raffle.

INDIVIDUAL PICTURES
Individual pictures will be taken on Wednesday, September 22nd. This will be a free dress day for students. Please remember, no spaghetti straps or flip flops.
